Q. I've never played online before. Where do i begin?
For anybody that hasn’t played before we have a simplified poker school section that will help anyone wishing to learn to play poker online.
Q. Can I try out your poker room without playing for money?
Yes. It costs nothing to download Setanta Bet poker and there are a number of tables where you can play for free.
Q. How do I start playing?
Go to our Download Page and you will find three simple steps, to create your account,download our Poker client and create your alias. If you do encounter any problems our dedicated customer service team will be available to guide you through your problems.
Q. How do I download Setanta Poker?
How to download:
Click on the “Download” button from our main page.
The “File Download” window should appear. Click the “Run” button to run the installation program. You should now wait for the program to install.
The installation wizard will now guide you through the rest of the process. Please read the license agreement and tick the box at the bottom if you agree to the terms. Then click “Next”
You now have the choice of “Quick Install” or “Custom Install”. If you have no preference, we recommend the “Quick Install” option. Once you have made your choice, click “Install”. Please wait for the installation to take place.
Dependent on your choice at the last step, the client will either open automatically, or be available from your program list.
Q. Can everybody play at Setanta Poker?
To play at JenningsBet Poker you must be at least 18 years old. For Estonian citizens, the requirements are at least 21 years of age. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept clients from Malta or USA.
Q. Can I play for real money?
Yes, you have the option to play for real money or just for fun at our Free Play tables.
Q. How do I join a game?
To join a Game:
Go to “Cash Tables” on the left hand side of the Setanta Poker window, and select the type of game you wish to play.
Select a table from the “Choose Your Table” box.
Click the “Join Table” button on the right hand side of the Setanta Poker window. The table you have selected is displayed
Select a “Seat Available” box to select a seat.
Select the credit amount you want to take to the table. Click the “Buy-In” button.
You are seated at the table and the game begins. You are prompted on what options are available to you.
Click an action button to perform your game moves.
Q. How do I leave a game?
To exit a game:
Click the “Exit” button. The “Player Still Active” dialog box is displayed.
Click the “Yes” button. The Lobby is displayed.
Select another game to play, or disconnect from Setanta's Poker Room.
Q. How do I buy more chips during a game?
To buy chips during a game:
Click the “Chips” button.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Q. How do I join a waiting list?
To join a Waiting List:
Select a table from the “Choose Your Table” box.
Click the “Waiting List” button. The “Subscribe to Waiting List” dialog box is displayed.
Select from “Subscribe to this table” and “All tables of the same type”.
Select the minimum number of Players from the drop-down list.
Click the “OK” button. You are added to the Waiting List displayed in the Waiting tab.
Q. Can I remove myself from a waiting list?
To remove yourself from a Waiting List:
Select the table that you want to remove yourself from, from the “Choose Your Table” box.
Click the “Waiting List” button. The “Already Waiting” dialog box is displayed.
Click the “Yes” button. You are removed from the Waiting List.
Q. Can I chat with other players?
To enter chat text:
Place your mouse cursor in the “Poker Chat” box.
Type your text.
Press Enter. Your chat text is displayed in the Chat box.
Q. I’ve encountered a problem. Who should I talk to?
Setanta Poker has a dedicated customer service team who will look to answer all e-mails fairly and promptly. Please click on the “Contact Us” section of the site for further information.
Q. I don't have an Alias, but I have a SetantaBet account?
Log in with your SetantaBet username and password.
When you are asked if you have logged in before with your Alias, press "no"
We will then ask you to create your own Alias. The Alias is your name which is shown at the poker table. You can only have one poker Alias at Microgaming (the Setanta Poker client), and this Alias must be unique. Choose it carefully since this can not be changed..!
We will then ask you to answer your secret question. Remember your secret answer, and check the spelling. We will ask for this if you have any problems, or if you forget your Alias.
Q. I have an Alias from another company using Microgaming Poker?
Unfortunately you are unable to use an Alias from another Microgaming Poker Site.
Log in with your SetantaBet username and password.
When you are asked if you have logged in before with your Alias, press "no"
We will then ask you to create your own Alias. The Alias is your name which is shown at the poker table. You can only have one poker Alias at Microgaming (the Setanta Poker client), and this Alias must be unique. Choose it carefully since this can not be changed..!

Q. I have an Alias, but the Alias shown when I try to log in is not mine?
On the Microgaming network it's only allowed to have one alias per player regardless which operator you have an account with. If you or someone else has created an alias on your computer that will be the alias displayed on your screen.To unlock the computer you need to contact our Customer Service and they will help you.
